This Vouvray is a delicious off-dry style of Chenin Blanc, aromas given are that of freshly picked walnuts, a hint of lime and a melon skin note. The taste that is given is honeyed cooked apples, agave and ginger. The sweetness is perfectly integrated and balanced, making for a great refreshing wine with great length. Will do great in keeping it over time up to 10 years will allow this wine to become more concentrated and fine.
A great wine to be drunk alone but is also so versatile when it comes to food. Great with goats cheese salad, honey roast ham, cheese platters. Perfect for chicken dishes, cooked in any way, eastern cuisine or Sunday roast.
