The top cuvée from Bouchié Chatellier sourced from selected grapes grown on an outcrop of silex soil. Ripe, herbaceous aromas, nettle and dill, balanced by concentrated green fruit and crisp citrus acidity on the finish marked by the steelyness, often referred to as “gunflint”, typical of the appellation. The wine will benefit from ageing for 4-5 years.
Serve chilled as an aperitif or with white fish served in a light sauce.
