Extremely vibrant and fresh, Picpoul is the “next big thing”. To the nose this wine is slightly perfumed with ripe fruit to the nose. The taste of the wine is weighty but remains fresh and saline. This is an example of the right grapes grown in the right terrior.
Grapes for this wine are grown only a stone’s throw from oyster leases in Étang de Thau bay – it is a perfect match for oysters, mussels, and grilled fish. Alternatively, you could just drink on its own.
