This Chassagne-Montrachet is bright and yellow in colour, to the nose it offers a very fine aroma, all the while still being slightly minerally which then lead to floral notes. With it being aged the aromas eventually turn to notes of candied white fruit. The taste is strong, confirming what was offered from the aromas, with fine structure and excellence balance. The aftertaste is persistent and impressive. This wine will be at its best 7-10 years after its made.
A great companion to delicate fine fish, shellfish as well but also white meats in sauces. Scallops in cream, grilled turbot and rougets. It is exceptionally tasty with epoisses or ripened goats cheese.
