An exemplary wine, it has wonderful expressive nose of almonds and the palate is clean and fresh. If a champagne house is judged by its Brut then Montaudon rates highly as endorsed by a recent Wine Spectator champagne tasting where Montaudon scored 90 beating the great names not only on points, but also on price. Decanter Magazine rated this as “Recommended” in its January 2008 edition. The demi-Sec is effectively a medium dry Champagne and can prove popular with customers looking to avoid a bone dry finish.
